In 1990, we started what has now become known as Tapestry Farm with just a dream in our head and a sparkle in our eye.� It was always a dream of ours to own a small farm with acreage and to raise our children on a farm - teaching them responsibility, commitment and how to work.�

While our little farm will never be for commercial use, it has more then served it's purpose as a dedicated habby farm - dedicated, that is, to all animals. We use our little heaven-on-earth for many purposes. some of which being: 4-H, open shows, providing other families with pets and breeding stock, and most of all, striving to promote the little known animal breeds that we love to raise. On January 28th, 2004, we were surprised to
find a brand new set of twin doelings - both weighed about 5 pounds, are very healthy, and have already shown signs of being very rambunctious!
And.....
...not to be outdone, one of our ewes gave us a surprise of her own - times 2!
These lambs are the first of the season, born February 1, 2004,
full-term but a lot earlier than expected!
Edrick and Ellie enjoy sleeping, eating, and spending time in the arms
of their shepherdess, Caitlin.
